There are two entities in the centre of the logical core of ICBS RS-Bank V.6 — «Document» and «Functional block».

«Document» is an aggregate of requisites corresponding to a real bank letter («Payment order», «Reply payment», «Contract», «Letter of credit» etc.). During the processing a document may receive different status (for example «Open», «Closed», «Rejected», etc.) designating the stage of banking documents circulation.

Any banking document is being processed by stages. The entity «Functional block» allows to single out one of the stages. It indicates an elementary part of a workflow consisting of several steps (following in linear or non-linear order) and shows the stage of banking document processing. Examples of such blocks are «Payment processing in forms file № 2», «Document positioning» and so on.
